Well what can I say I called up to the site on Sunday 3rd August to see if we could book a plot for the Calderdale Heart Care Support Group so we can grow our veg and to get persons with heart problems doing something to help them to not stop doing things because of there problems and also to get them out into the fresh air.
I was very inpressed to see what the plot owners had done, very tidy and and well looked after. Thank you also to ann that showed my wife around the plots well done to you all and hope we get a plot later FOR OUR GROUP

I have been watching the progress of the Whitehill Allotment Association on the web site . What a great start .A big pity that not all of the tennants are as keen as most of you. What a let down. I suspect plenty people would love to have a plot, give them a chance. Get rid of them that havent used a spade yet. Viewing this from South Africa.

Great news Wyevale are going to donate 21 composters plus would like to offer advice , guidance, seed potatoes and seeds plus information sheets to the school groups.
A massive thank you to them-also to Sainsburys who have kindly given thirty pounds worth of vegetable seeds to the school groups.
I can't wait to pick a plot at 1pm this Saturday -see you all there.

the site is looking great visited it with my dad last weekend on a cold wet day nothing like the photos. I will echo my brother and daughter ~ my dad loves being in front of the camera, and has plenty to say with an opinion on most things, so watch out ! Edd
